Welcome to the Virtual DIGICOM Film Festival in DSUSD

Since you weren’t able to attend the DIGICOM Film Festival this year, we’re bringing the festival home to you.

After the successful Desert Sands Showcase in 2019, we decided to host our first film festival in the district – and the number of entries were overwhelming. More than 22 teachers submitted videos from nearly half of the schools in DSUSD, and we received more than 360 submissions in all! That’s an incredible number of entries, and we’d like to thank our DIGICOM teachers for their dedication and commitment.

This year, every teacher who submitted videos will be recognized in some way, along with their students. The festival categories include Curriculum, Shining Stars, Community, and Just For Fun.

So, without further ado…gather your family, get the popcorn popping and dim the lights for a movie night like no other. We may not be with you in person, but we celebrate you in spirit. Enjoy the program!
